    TITLE: HANNA
    RATING: ★★★★★★★★★★
REVIEW: I know a 10 star rating, well let me tell you this is one of my favorite "super soldier, action, suspense" movies of all time. HANNA was one of those movies I picked at random one night as a "eh lets watch and see" type of things. Oh did it deliver.

HANNA (like my next two reviews) is a visual beautiful movie and leaves you feeling like you've just walked through this twisted surreal world. The action scenes and slower scenes are balanced out nicely with a combination of touching intimate scenes that truly give you a feeling of how sheltered Hanna was—my particular favorite being one of the most intimate non-sexual kisses I've seen in a movie between two girls. With action scenes that are beautiful choreographed, fun to watch, and intense.

The movie also does an interesting job of providing you with a lot of visuals without much dialog. It often giving you just enough to know what is going on, while filling the rest of the space (when there is talking) with gibberish fun. This may sound off-putting but believe me it's awesome how well it all flows and fits the pace and feeling of this adventure.

If you like action, secret government agencies, rogue agents, super soldiers this is a movie you have to sit down and watch.

    TITLE: THE FALL
    RATING: ★★★★★★★★★★
REVIEW: Oh yes another ten star rating, because if there is one theme to these first three movies, it is I love them.

To sum up The Fall lets just say brilliant story telling and amazing eye porn COSTUME AND SET DESIGN. The Fall is a beautiful world to behold the costumes, if anything else, are what you need to see this movie for alone. The costumes are beautiful, colourful, eye catching, and breathtakingly unique. You will fall in love with so many dresses, suits and styles of clothing you won't know what to do with yourself.

The costumes aren't the only thing beautiful about this movie. The story is fantastical and captures the escapism of a child perfectly. To give you an idea there are two story lines that run parallel to one another in this movie. "In a hospital on the outskirts of 1920s Los Angeles, an injured stuntman begins to tell a fellow patient, a little girl with a broken arm, a fantastic story of five mythical heroes. Thanks to his fractured state of mind and her vivid imagination, the line between fiction and reality blurs as the tale advances." Source

All round this is one of my all time favorite movies. It is a great sit down and enjoy movie, that is heart wrenching and powerful. With the most unique characters and beautifully seamless flow between real and pretend.

It is in my opinion a must see movie.

    TITLE: Gravity
    RATING: ★★★★★★★★★★
REVIEW: All the hype and high ratings really made me go to see this movie. I just had to know why everyone was raving about this claimed "mind-blowing, movie masterpiece." Jokingly, a friend and I thought that maybe there was a hypnosis in the middle of it that was going to tell us "You must love this movie." There wasn't. There should have been, at least for the three of us.

Gravity is one of those movies that everyone talks about. It does have really nice graphics and the soundtrack is beautiful but, compared to what Avatar brought to the big screen, this cannot compare. Gravity is exactly what you would expect it to be about -- Sandra Bullock floating, tumbling, and freaking out in space. You watch her overcome her fears and pull herself together and you really see how a guardian angel can change the mindset of a person. I wouldn't call the movie moving, though. It wasn't super inspirational, especially since its left open for interpretation.

Also, some of the science behind the movie was a little off. The three of us that went (we were literally the only ones in the theater) were discussing some of the issues. The main one being the fact that space is a "vacuum" and the way people looked just didn't seem right. It honestly looked like they were from the Titanic (or at least the ones that drowned). But I digress...

If you don't question the science and reality of the film, it's one of those pretty decent movies that you might watch again, but only if it's on Netfix. Or at least that's what this movie did for me.
