Hey!

So, I'm half writing this as an introduction and half as a way to get five posts written in a panic response to all these bannings I'm hearing about!

I'm Lyra, and I've been writing in a whole range of different roleplays for a good few years now - although I've never tried much outside of private roleplay games hosted by people I know, or have met through other private roleplays, so this is something of a step, hopefully, out of the pretty predicatable storylines I was getting stuck in.

I'm really into romance and fantasy stories, especially the darker ones - fluff just isn't interesting to me, and a good bit of action writing never hurt anyone. So that's it I guess, back to the newbie guide! Thanks for such an awesome looking website; most promising thing I've been referred to so far! Really hope you don't get overwhelmed by these nasty bot things!

That's good to hear you're impressed! I felt the same kind of awe when I first arrived, too! And don't worry about those bots too much these days, I think the worst is behind us so we're back to a smooth sailing ship!

Also, I think, with respects to your interests, you're going to fit in well with the crowd. So, don't be shy! Feel free to browse the search threads (if you're into private one/one) or dive into a newly made group game. I know we have a few brainstorm threads up (all looking for a head count) and, if none of those suit you, maybe some of the new RPs?

Or, you can chill with us in the general sections of the board. Everyone here is fairly nice, fairly interesting. (:

Obligatory five posts! Hell yeah! Haha, it really was a bit of a scramble for the general forums there; even if the bots are under control, better safe than sorry.

I'm in the process of working up the courage to jump on and register for a forum. I'm actually still occupied with being all horribly gleeful with the whole setup here, and I'm shamelessly checking out how other people have been setting up character profiles. It's all very awesome really; it's a shame I didn't find this place a few years ago -this is just exactly the site I've been after, so yeah, insanely happy.

So while I'm busy just checking it all out, I'll probably camp out on the generals and annoy people with my rambling. XD everyone looks really friends, and that's a very nice change from the forums I was on.
