"Come on Jamie!! We need to get to the airport!"My mother yelled from upstairs. I chuckled softly and jumped out of bed, running downstairs. I adjusted my black dress and grabbed my hat,"Alright, alright, I'm coming..." We had a forgeign exchange student coming today, she would stay with us to finish her senior year in highschool with me.. It was exciting.
I smiled as we landed. Staying in America for a year will be so exciting. I wonder who my host family is. I walked to the baggage claim and smiled when the man handed me my luggage. "Dankeshun" I told him with a smile. He looked at me weird and walked away. I dismissed it and waited. I ran my fingers through my freshly dyed black hair, my blue eyes sparking with excitement and nervousness.
"She's going to have to teach me all sorts of German things,"I said to my mother with a soft laugh. I held up the sign with our student's name and looked around. Who could she be? I was so excited... She would be staying in my room, go to my school, a totally different culture!!
