Background
Atlas Map
There are several places in Atlas that you should know:
Cockpit
A large, hull-like internal structure, with a huge screen mounted on the front wall, working as digital windshield. It has second open floor, that works as support to the main consoles on the first floor. It can only be accessed by the Main Corridors.
Main Corridors
A large net of corridors runs through the entire ship. Wide broad passages, allowing the easy flow of civilians through the busiest places: Civilian Living Quarters, Security Living Quarters, Medic Bay, Main Hall, Cockpit.
Civilian Living Quarters(CLQ)/Security Living Quarters(SLQ)
Both are very similar. They're much like a prison. Several blocks of housing stacked together, only accessible by cat walks and passage ways on the higher levels. It reaches 7 floors high. The SLQ contain special features, though, like radios and images of cameras through the ship.
Medic Bay
About the size of a football field. It has several medic beds and all the requirements to revive a human being after being in a accidentally decompressed room.
Main Hall
The first thing you saw when you walked in Atlas. It is a wide, comfortable space filled with posters and video images of how great Atlas is. You can directly access the Hangar through it.
Attendance Catwalks
They go through the entire ship, they're as vast as the wires and vents that run the ship. You can access the most isolated corners with them, but only a few can access them. It can access almost every room, but the Engineering Bay can only be accessed by them. It's used to repair the ship.
Hangar
A large location on the edge of the ship, that storage the smaller research space crafts, an for some reason a few gunships... Although, under energy or emergencies it remain under lock down and decompression.
Engineering Bays/Engine Room
A smokey, black part of the ship, located by the engines. It's usually packed with engineers. It's filled with heavy equipment.
Armory
There's not much to say about it. All you can know is that is packed with weapons and has a secret cargo. It's heavily guarded, and, such as the Hangar, in case of emergency. It remains under lock down and decompression.
Recreation Room:
Located approximate to the center of Atlas, where all the people gather around and play with their children, or just if they want to rest after a long day of work. It's a large room that simulates the environment of Earth before the war.
Time Line
Year: 3198
Humankind is close to the turn of the century, and the hopes for newly done Atlas, the first planetary spacecrafts, having the purpose of creating a brand new space colony, and expand man's knowledge even deeper , are high. Yet, has if the Universe teases these wonders, a war between the Rebel colonies brakes out, and soon expands to the Union colonies. Earth enters a crisis. It is deprived of resources and labor.
Year: 3199
Only a year after the war start Earth is invaded, and, in a precipitated decision, Atlas ends up as a getaway convoy. Atlas 1 and 3 are destroyed, and Atlas 2 barely escapes the slaughter. The captain, in a misguided though, sent Atlas to an uncharted sector trying to avoid the Rebels. Even though they succeeded, they leaped to an even greater danger...
Year: 3200
05:55am
It is the turn of the new century. The time so eagerly awaited for the crew of Atlas finally comes. After all, if the new year means a new life, new century must mean a new existence. Away from the dread of the war, and the massacre lived by all on board, they should be celebrating, happy, drunk. Yet, their not. In fact they appear to be doing... nothing. Just lying on the floor, as if asleep, even though some don't have that bad injuries. Darkness reigns over the silent ship. In your holo-pad, every crew members are still. Yet, there's a few, red blinking dots, wandering the ship. What's grim about this situation is that red means deceased. One of the dots approaches. A blue, faint light wobbles it's way through the corridor. You could almost confuse the bright, lifeless figure as a human being, but it's far away from it now.
Characters
Secondary Characters/AI's

This man is an admirable man. He was a jet fighter for the Union during the short during war, and considered a hero when saved a convoy of children of a Rebel ambush. He has a long and skinny face, a scar on his left cheek. He is very tall and thin, and got shaved hair.
Head of security Leonel Harris
He was recruited to Atlas when there was shortage of positions. Not the best, but what the responsible though that was better. A well built man, a little chubby, with a childish face.

Artificial Intelligence Support System: AI' SU
AI' SU is a bio-logical artificial intelligence computer. This ground-breaking AI was made of a brain tissue of the creator him self, an old man on the verge of death, Dr. LeBraun. It usually manifests by a female voice. The computer she's generated from is located deep beneath sight, in the computer room, under the engineering room.
AI's
You can invent secondary characters, without making them, you can do whatever you want with those, kill them, interact with them, anything. Advise you to use the AI's above, though.
Your Character:
Your character must follow every aspect here below, except the other section:
Name:
Age:
Appearance:
Clothing: (remember, they're in space and in the future)
Bio:
Occupation/Job: (there's a list below, but you can invent your own, as long it makes sense)

Occupations/Jobs
Pilot: You're a pilot. Pilots have clearance to go to the hangar, but not request the end of Lock-down. You cannot be at the hangar this early in the story, unless you can survive without oxygen.
Engineer: Engineers know by heart the attendance catwalks, and obviously they have clearance to access them and the engineering bay. They could manually unlock a locked or jammed door, if they have the tools.
Security: They have more weapons, and they're more prepared to a battle scene. They ave clearance to go nearly every part of the ship.
Medic: They know a lot about medicine, a great companion if you're hurt, and they have clearance to go freely to the Medic Bay.
Special Security: Only they can access the armory freely, and seize the lock-down. They have more weapons and armor. Although, there are only 3 spots for them, so, hurry!
Again, these are only options to help you, you can make your own jobs! You don't even have to have a job. You could be a Civilian! Although, civilians still need jobs...
