From the Overview:
You were pulled off the street by something, but you don't know what. A hand goes over your eyes, but you can hear their voices- their raspy voices that still echo all throughout your ears today. You can't fight them, you already know this by the strength in their hold on you.
It doesn't matter though. You already know where you're going.
You've heard of kidnappings like these. They've been going on all over town now, but you used to think that it couldn't happen to you. Or anyone you cared about. In fact, you've just put it to the back of your mind like all the other people do, just forgetting that you could get hurt one day.
A shot of something goes into your neck before you get a chance to do anything. Strange things start happening to your vision, little swirls and wavy things of black start to cloud it, and your mind doesn't even know what to think about it, rendering you immobile and unconscious.
When you wake up, your vision is still blurry, but you can't move. As you are pulled back into consciousness you realize that you're actually secured down by cuffs on your wrists and ankles and that the coldness below you was not a floor, but a table. A breeze floats through the room as a door opens.
A man.
The very man responsible for what was going to happen to you came into the room and closed the door behind him. A syringe and a small vial of a red liquid is all that he carries into the room. You watch him fill the vial of the syringe and close your eyes as he moves towards you.
He sticks the needle into your right arm and a searing pain makes you erupt into a scream as he injects the serum into your veins. You're so sure you're on fire, the way the pain just rolls through your body. You fight against the boiling ache, but it is no use. And again, you are plunged into a deep sleep.
Little do you know, but you were just bestowed with the gift of magic. The one thing that humans have always wanted a grasp on, you were just given. Under the close watch of the scientists, you will learn how to use your powers, and possibly be used as meaningless weapons.
Or maybe into a monster that no one can control.
I still have to think of my character >.< ahh the hardships of thinking :P
