Need a place to save a character and don't want to rely on a text document on your computer or an email to yourself? Just make a clone of the character you want a back-up of and send them to the Warehouse!
You may also role-play here with your cloned characters, if you want! Check out the "Background" section for the general premise of the game.
Rules
1) Follow WTF RPG.com site rules.
2) When you clone a character and add it here, please make a post in the "Logging Book". (The post can be as simple as the character's name.)
This allows the game to stay 'active' and help other users find the game if they can't remember the name of it.
3) No other "warehouse"/"storage" games will be allowed. (Meaning, games created specifically to be used to store characters only.) If you need an extra back-up, please use other services/methods. :)
4) Please only clone your character to the Warehouse once.
5) Orphaned characters will be considered "up for grabs". If you no longer wish to archive your character in the Warehouse, please post with the character in the "Termination Station" and a staff member will delete the character from the game as soon as they can.
6) If you have any questions, please post in the OOC thread and a staff member (or user who knows the answer) will get to you as soon as they can. :)
Note: This game is not eligible to be a "Featured RPG" unless the game develops an active role-playing group. If users use this as an actual game and create a storyline for it, it will become eligible only then. ;)
Background
For storyline purposes, for those few who will choose to play here, consider this a mysterious, vast warehouse. It's hard to say where this warehouse is located, as no one has yet found an exit from the building.
Characters can be packed however the player wishes. Mostly, one would assume a wooden crate with straw packing - but anything goes. Stuff them in an envelope! Encase them in carbonite! Cram them into a shoe box with packing peanuts! Have fun. ;) (It's a great tension reliever, abusing and making fun of your characters. Trust me on that one.)
Characters would either be aware that they are "just characters" or be informed that they are, indeed, fictional. It's up to you if they take it seriously. :)
Characters
To clone your character, just go to the character's bio or the roleplay they're a part of and click the "Clone" button.
Feel free to rename the character, if you want.
For destination, leave "Roleplay" clicked.
Then type in "Clone Warehouse". That should send your character here for safe keeping. :)
