Romey had been fully entranced by the television. She had stopped on a show called 'Jersey Shore.' She didn't understand it fully. It was just people yelling at one another and causing fights. But it was amusing enough for Romey to sit there for a good hour and watch it. It was amusing enough that Romey barely noticed that her room mate had walked through the door. She had snapped out of the trance once the girl started talking and... got Romey's name wrong. It sounded the same, though. Romey looked up at the girl with a sudden smile. She stood to her feet and took the girls hand. "It's Romey, actually." She said with a small chuckle, "It's nice to meet you, though!"
Romey examined the girl shortly. A small smile forming at the corner of her mouth. She was very pretty. Long curled locks that seemed to tumble over her shoulders. An almost perfect body. Romey was almost inclined to sit down and draw her this instant. Would that be acceptable? Socially? She wasn't sure. Instead she simply stated, "You're very pretty!"
Romey removed her hand from the girls and returned to her position in front of the TV. She pulled her knees to her chest and looked up at Maia. "Are you going to that party?" She asked, "I've never been to a party... and I thought you weren't aloud to be in other people's dorms after ten." She sounded like a child. But, truthfully, that's what Romey was. Academically, she was very smart, but if you asked her about the real world... she was as ignorant as a new born child. "I was thinking... maybe we could go together." She flashed her a smile, hoping her new room mate would accept. She didn't want to go to a party by herself... that wouldn't be... 'cool', right?
