The old blue notebook had seen better days. The wire spiral on it's edge was filled with frayed bits of paper from pages torn out, the edges of the wire now jetting out at the top. As for the book itself it was bent, scribbled on, stained and ripped in a few places but held some of her most prided ideas.
But this was a new chapter, for a new direction.
A clean page with empty blue lines.
A new challenge.
A new opportunity.
