Kriemedean's Artwork
So, I guess I am going to post pictures from an old deviantart account of mine: Dirus-deCanis. Way old and I'll eventually post more, maybe even start drawing again. (It's funny that this is not as embarrassing as telling a friend of it; feels like bragging. I am my own friend though, so not a lie!)

This is Crevan... He looks better with longer hair.

Short comic of his adopted brother.

The first image is very well done, but the brush you used takes away a lot of its potential. I think it would have looked better using a smoother brush (or maybe just with a different texture).

I'll try again sometime, but I have to use ImageReady, Paint and/or things free online, since my photoshop was uninstalled and I can't find the disk.[COLOR="Silver"]

Gah! I can't add more pics!

I don't know if this is any help, but before I got Photoshop (many, many years ago) I used to work with openCanvas, and I Remember the older versions could be downloaded for free from the official website. No idea if that's still happening, but it's worth a shot. (:

4/5 Pages of a comic I don't plan on finishing. Yeah, I know, original. -_-

If you're looking for a really good and free drawing program I would suggest FireAlpaca, it is the program I use. It functions like Paint Tool SAI.
-
Thank you, Strude. ;) I'm getting that too now. No excuses not to make things. Rumxcoke also mentioned GIMP, so at least four art programs, Paint and Photobucket. It's a good day.

I'm very on the fence with GIMP. If you're use to using Photoshop it functions "similar" but differently enough that you might get really frustrated. I find I can see the similarities and I know how it is supposed to work on Photoshop and it just won't do it the same way on GIMP even though it should.
I didn't mind GIMP to much when making graphics. I personally wouldn't draw on it, but that is just me and I have a preference for simpler, smoother drawing focused programs.
I'd give it a try though, that is just my personal opinion. ^________^'

Will do and thank you. I'm going to download the one you suggested next. I can't seem to find where GIMP is; installed and setup but no where to be found. I tried for stark's, but I think they stopped having the old, free one available. It was interesting to see that FireAlpaca is used so much in Japan, considering the amount of creative works coming from there.

And we have another artist on here! And your characters are soooo cute too. And I love the comic you started. The artwork for that was really good. I loved how she had to go back to get her shoes. Sounds like something I would forget. XD

Thanks, Xavirne, and not just for the compliment. I almost forgot about this thread.
I couldn't figure out for the longest time how to do her hair so I scribbled angrily across the paper and it actually worked! I like her more than her daughter, even though she is dead throughout the series.
I love making comics.

>/////< THOSE ARE TOO FREAKING CUTE. Gah, you need to change the title of your thread to "CAUTION: This thread continues things that are TOO CUTE for humans." Seriously, your stuff just makes me want to cuddle with them. O.O They need to be made into plushies. I would soooooo buy one B|

Oh and the hair does look nice! That's usually how I draw hair too. I just go, "BEWGHIOWHEGOIEWHGIAE" (pretend that is me scribbling) and then, BAM, I have hair. Or something hair-like. XD
