HUGE CONCERN. Please Get Insomniac Back

We have a spam bot issue again. I know Insomniac dealth with the last one, but I wish for this one to be handled sooner rather than later. It simply got out of hand last time and we had weeks of bots.

My concerns mentioned to the moderators aside I want to address the users of the board.

REPORT EVERY BOT YOU SEE AS SOON AS YOU SEE THEM. PLEASE.

The more you report the quicker mods can remove the bots. So do not be shy about the report button. For those who do not know to report a use you click the following:

I wish there was a "report" button of sorts on user profiles. Would be so much easier to just flag the person rather than the comments. Oh wells~!

Flagging their comment is better and works all the same.

It almost feels like by posting here they're checking in, saying, "YUP, I spam."

Don't worry guys - These bots posting now are very easy to deal with and get rid of. I was able to ban the entire lot and delete their posts within about 5 minutes. The situation right now is lightyears ahead of where it was in April. :)

So don't panic or get worried - This morning's spamming is still pretty annoying, but we're in good shape.

Things can only get better and better! If the bots are only trying to post ads, then we can take care of them without much issue. :)

YAY! That's great news. Glad these puppies were an easy fix. Let's hope they don't get any worse :)

Well that is why I made mention. Last time it started with a few bots and some minor spam. Next thing we knew one day we had thousands of bots and we had constant spam.

I hope this isn't a prelude to the same.
