Humans are unaware of the land beyond the vale, where Elves and gnomes, goblins and all sorts of so-called mythical beings roam freely. The two worlds impact each other more than most would like. Human pollution creates wastelands in the Elvin world, meanwhile human-untouched forests translate to the busiest hubs of the Elvin empire where magic flies freely.
With pollution from the human side of the veil growing however, the peace between the two worlds is steadily crashing apart. The high elves seek to teach the humans how to change their ways but the dark elves, the Drow, seek to destroy the humans and solve the problem once and for all.
The craziest part of it all? The humans don't even know it's happening.
